Why netball

More than a game

There are many reasons and benefits to children being a part of a team. It helps build self esteem, teaches them critical thinking, how to build strong relationships and then how to both win and lose together.

It is a non-contact sport, so it is very safe. The emphasis is on teamwork, skill, and communication, all of which makes the sport a great way to introduce such concepts to kids!

Needless to say it also teaches them teamwork and these are just some of the many reasons it is great for kids to do a team sport. There aren't as many options for girls and Netball has a long history and is extremely popular and vibrant as a community in the North West of England.

Give your daughter the chance to meet new friends, gain all the benefits of being part of a team sport and have a lot of fun along the way with Saddleworth Netball Club.
